We have a superb team of experienced carers, all of whom are genuine dog lovers and will care for your dogs as they would their own. They all know a huge amount about a dog’s health and well-being so they can ensure your dog gets the most from their stay with us.
Exercise and playtime is the most important parts of the Maccabee’s experience. Whether your dog is a day-care or boarding guest he will enjoy social and play time with his new friends.
We believe in socialising dogs as much as possible and as long as your dog can play with the other dogs he’ll spend his time enjoying the great outdoors! The Maccabee’s have years of experience and work hard to create a fun environment. We do all we can to give our guests the love, attention and stimulation they are used to at home. Jonathan Lines
Hello and welcome to Maccabee’s Pet Hotel. As the owner of Maccabee’s I’m proud to say that we’ve been taking the very best care of dogs for the last 15 years. Maccabee’s is a really exciting venture and I’m delighted to work with such an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate team of dog care professionals.
We’ve invested in facilities that will ensure you dog enjoys a safe and happy break while you’re on holiday. In addition we’ve extended our paddocks and invested in additional screening and security.

Hi, I’m Suzanne — although almost everyone calls me Suzy or Fluff. I’ve worked with dogs for over 30 years and still learn something new almost every day. Over the years I’ve cared for nearly every breed and have extensive experience supporting dogs with medical needs and special requirements.
I don’t have a favourite breed — I truly believe that every dog, regardless of size or shape, deserves the same love, patience, and attention.

Hello! I’ve been part of the Maccabee’s team for over 10 years. Caring for dogs isn’t just a job for me — it’s a way of life. I live on site at the Hotel and am on call day and night to make sure every dog is happy, safe, and well cared for.

I’m Chris, I keep everything ticking along smoothly at Maccabee’s; I take care of the grounds maintain the building and collect the dogs from their homes I make a point of visiting our guests every day — because spending time with the dogs is the best part of the job.

I’m Sandra. I love dogs and really enjoy seeing all the different breeds of dog that stay with us. It’s amusing to see their different personalities and great to see how well most of the dogs get along together. I tend to work mainly behind the scenes, answering emails along with other administration duties. I think Maccabee’s is a very special place.
